For my master’s design project, I developed a MATLAB/Simulink script to model the separation dynamics of a spinning ride-share spacecraft. This involved simulating potential missions using existing orbital data to validate the efficacy of the technology. Based on the results of the simulations and analysis, I drafted design requirements to guide further development of the deployment arm and the Mailboy spacecraft.
