The Secret Storage Device was a project intended to give myself experience in Mechatronic design. My project included two sensors; an RIF sensor and a button and, two motors, one a brushless DC motor and the other a servo. Swiping your hand in front of the RIF sensor would cause the servo to lift a trap door and the DC motor to raise a tray. Pressing the button would lower the tray and trap door. The device was controlled by an Arduino.
