My senior design project was a spacecraft concept that aimed to improve on kick-stage or rideshare spacecraft designs. It was designed to deploy payload spacecraft to various Earth, Lunar and Solar orbits from just one free return lunar trajectory. By spinning up the payload spacecraft, its momentum can carry it to its desired orbit while the rideshare spacecraft remains on its original trajectory. It was designed to deploy the payload spacecraft with enough DeltaV to allow for many accessible orbits from a single launch including the capability to raise it out of Earth's orbit or, if deployed during the Lunar flyby, keep it in a Lunar orbit.

This project aimed to simulate the industry process for spacecraft engineering. Starting with a System Requirements Review, the multiple subsystems necessary were designed to meet requirements and reported in a Preliminary Design Review.
