Ceramic Heat Pipe Modeling and Comparison with State-of-the-art Heat Pipe Performance

In this project I worked with a group to create a Python script that analyzed the effectiveness of various working fluids in heat pipes for use in aerospace applications.

EXCERPT FROM ABSTRACT:
In this work a Python based code, 'HeatPipeModel.py', was developed and used to analyze the application of aluminum nitride and boron nitride heat pipes and potential innovative working fluids capable of application at these temperatures. Working fluid selection, heat pipe heat transfer limitations and thermal conductance of heat pipe materials were analyzed for conventional heat pipe systems and potential ceramic systems with new working fluids.
