This lava lamp was more of an art project rather than an engineering project. I like lava lamps and wanted to see if I could make one that was candle powered so I went to Michaels and just scrapped together what I could find. I also decided I would try to make my own wax, which turned out to be difficult and gross. I ended up with something that worked for a little bit but would like to try to make a more engineered version of this at some point.
